The protection of your personal data is a key concern for us.
In this privacy policy, we inform you about the nature, scope and purpose of the collection, processing and use of your personal data.
1. Principles
- We collect, process and use your personal data exclusively in compliance with the applicable data protection regulations.
- We collect, process and use your personal data exclusively in compliance with the applicable data protection regulations.
2. Scope of Data Collection, Processing and Use
-
We collect, process and use your personal data only insofar as they are provided by the user for the purpose of contacting us, in a contact e-mail or via our contact form. The data obtained in this way are used by us to get in touch with the sender. No other use of these data is intended.
Contact form
When you send us an enquiry via the contact form on our website, we process the data you enter:
- Name and e-mail address (mandatory)
- Company and telephone number (optional)
- Your message
- Date and time of the enquiry
This information is stored in the database of our website system and forwarded by e-mail to our team so that we can process your enquiry and reply to you. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR (DSGVO), insofar as your enquiry is directed at the conclusion or performance of a contract; otherwise, it is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you give when submitting the form. You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future; an informal message to info@itada.de is sufficient.
To protect against automated spam submissions, the form checks whether a field invisible to humans has been filled in and how quickly the form was submitted. No cookies are set for this purpose and no data are transmitted to third parties.
Your data will be deleted as soon as your enquiry has been conclusively dealt with, provided there are no statutory retention obligations to the contrary. Your data will not be passed on to third parties.
Newsletter
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we use your e-mail address to send you the newsletter. Subscription takes place using the double opt-in procedure: after submitting the form, you will receive an e-mail containing a confirmation link. Only once you have confirmed your subscription via this link will we add your address to the mailing list. The link is valid for seven days; we delete unconfirmed subscriptions after 30 days at the latest.
As evidence of your consent, we store:
- your e-mail address
- the date and time of the subscription, of the dispatch of the confirmation e-mail and of the confirmation
- the page on which you subscribed and the consent text displayed there
The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future, via the unsubscribe link in every newsletter or by sending an informal message to info@itada.de. After unsubscribing, you will no longer receive the newsletter. We retain your e-mail address and the times of subscription and unsubscription in order to be able to prove the consent given; the legal basis for this is our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. If you wish your data to be erased completely, a message to info@itada.de is sufficient.
Like the contact form, the subscription form is protected against automated submissions without the use of cookies. We send the e-mails via our own e-mail mailbox; your address is not passed on to third parties.

This website does not use cookies for advertising or analytics purposes. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit a website. We use them only where a function technically requires them, for example for our editorial team to log in to the content management system. If you choose a language with the language switch (DE / EN), we store this choice in the cookie “locale” (content: “de” or “en”, storage period: one year) so that the website continues to be shown to you in that language. Without such a choice, the language follows the language setting your browser transmits with every request; nothing is stored on your device for this. The legal basis is § 25(2) no. 2 of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG).

The data automatically retrieved by the server are required solely for the error-free functioning of the website and are not used by ITADA.
Server logs
As is customary for almost all websites, the server on which our web pages are hosted (hereinafter referred to as the "web server") automatically collects information from you when you visit us on the internet.
The web server automatically recognises certain data, such as:
- IP address (for IPv4 addresses, the last block is changed to ".0"; for IPv6 addresses, only the first two blocks are stored and the last 6 blocks are changed to "::")
- Date and time of access
- The operating system used
- Browser type and version
- Protocols used
- URL of the page from which the user came
- Language selection
- HTTP status (return code)
- Amount of data in bytes
These data are deleted no later than 14 days after their collection, unless there is a suspicion of misuse or of another system security issue.
Audience measurement with Umami
In order to understand how our website is used and to improve it, we use the open-source software Umami. We operate Umami ourselves; the data are not transmitted to third parties. Umami does not set cookies and does not store any information on your device.
The following information is recorded each time a page is accessed:
- the page accessed and the page title, as well as the page from which you came
- date and time of access
- type of browser and operating system, device type, screen resolution and language setting
- approximate location (country, region, city), derived from your IP address
- certain actions on the website, such as opening and submitting the contact form, clicks on our phone number or e-mail address, and subscribing to, confirming and unsubscribing from the newsletter, in each case without your input such as name, e-mail address or message
Your IP address is not stored. In order to distinguish visits from one another, Umami generates an identifier from the IP address, the browser identifier and a random value that changes monthly; the IP address cannot be derived from this identifier. Recognition beyond this period is not possible. The confirmation and unsubscribe links from our e-mails are recorded without their personal code.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the statistical analysis and improvement of our offering pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. If you have activated the "Do Not Track" setting in your browser, your visits will not be recorded. You may also object to the processing at any time pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR; an informal message to info@itada.de is sufficient.
